memorial will

There are two types of Memorial Wills. One such will allows you to give a donation in “Memory of” a loved one. The other is a donation that is left after you are gone.

In memory of
When a loved one dies, we want to remember them in a meaningful way. A Memorial Will does just that. It is a gift that says something about the person it is commemorating. Many of our patients who are grateful for the loving kindness they have received during their care or for the opportunity to have the latest technology available to them for treatment, want to express their appreciation in the form of a donation that honors a loved one who has passed on.

If you would like to make a donation in memory of or in honor of someone special, simply click the "IN MEMORY OF" icon.

Remembering the cancer patients in your will
Many people want to ensure that there is continued support for our cancer patients, their families and our community education and research projects. Through a Memorial Will, you can rest assured that these patients will be taken care of, even after you are gone. This can be done by adding a statement in your will that expresses your desire. Following are a few examples of ways you might state how you wish your donation to be distributed.

“I give and bequeath to Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation, Inc., 1430 S. Pine St., Melbourne, FL 32901, the sum of $________ for its general purposes.”

or

“I give, devise and bequeath to the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation, Inc. 1430 S. Pine St., Melbourne, FL 32901 _______% of the rest, remainder and residue of my estate.”

Choose the statement you are most comfortable with, or another one of your own, and always be sure to have your will reviewed by a lawyer who is well versed in estate planning.

Please know that all gifts are tax deductible and used locally in Brevard and Indian River Counties.
